The JAZZ Collection serves as Natalie's reminder of where her creative ideas began. Jewelry design entered her life when she sought out a multi-strand Native American choker. These gorgeous chokers are typically made of bone and silver, but usually contain only two or three different colors. Natalie's search for a piece that satisfied her need for more color contrasts turned up nothing. The same can be said of the traditional wood, metal, and bone jewelry made in some western African countries. Frustrated, yet undeterred, young Natalie simply decided to create the jewelry she wanted to wear. Rather than attempting to copy designs that have a deep, spiritual meaning to the people who originally created them, Natalie chooses to combine what she sees as the best visual aspects of those designs and adds her own quirky pattern preferences to the mix. The result . . . is JAZZ. ENJOY!!!
