I screamed one day...
A friend asked why...
  -"I hurt", I said
  -'You never screamed before', he said
  -"Yes I did, on the inside"
  -'Why? No one can hear that'
  -"No one cares anyway"
  -'Yes they do. Do you ever scream
    on the outside'
  -"Yes"
  -'Really? When?'
  -"Years ago...
    Once, I would scream
    whenever I hurt
    but no one ever paid attention
    It could be that they didn't hear
    but I know it was cause they didn't care...
    I tried to scream on the inside
    but knowing that no one cared made
    me think I shouldn't care either...
          So I hurt more...
    Now, it's just too much to hold in..."
  -'Well, go ahead, let it all out'
  -"Okay" I said, and I did
  -'Oh, did you say something?' he asked
  -"No" said I, 
   "Nevermind"
and I hurt again...
