MIDNIGHT INK

is a bi-monthly sequential art anthology that was originally published in 1997 and 1998 by students at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. After a six-year hiatus, the creator is resuming production beginning with the release of the October 2004 Comeback Issue. This issue has a variety of stories by writers and artists from the United States, England, Scotland, and Canada. BONUS: The first 200 come with a FREE CD from Valentino! CONTENT
Midnight Ink accepts four (4) types of submissions; serial stories (2+ episodes), feature stories (1 episode), filler stories (1 or 2 pages), and cover-art. Submissions may contain harsh language, violence, and nudity, but are not allowed to contain pornography or positive portrayals of racism, homophobia, or sexism. All genres and artistic mediums are accepted with the exception of unaltered photography. Know of anyone looking to get their story published? FORMAT
We are starting with a conservative print run of 1,000 copies self-distributed in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Australia. The book will be 8.5in x 11in (216mm x 280mm) in B&W on 50lb(#) paper. Each issue is 32-100 pages with no more than 12.5% advertising space, if any. Marked retail price is $5 US, 3 UK, $7 Canada, and $8 Australia. Cost to you is just $3 USD.
