COPYRIGHTS 1. Submissions to Midnight Ink remain the property of the writer(s) and artist(s) credited with the creation of the story. Whether your submission is printed in Midnight Ink or not, you still retain the right to re-publish it at any time, in any publication, and for any reason without notifying OR compensating Tainted Muse Publishing. 2. Tainted Muse Publishing reserves the right to re-print the story at any time, in which case the artist(s) and writer(s) of the story will be given at least 30 days written notice. PUBLISHING REFERENCES 3. If this is the first time the story has been published, all subsequent publishings must refer to Midnight Ink as the original publication and to Tainted Muse Publishing as the original publisher. 4. If this is NOT the first publishing of the story, it is YOUR responsibility to provide Midnight Ink/Tainted Muse Publishing with the info regarding the original publishing so that we can post it in the book and online. Please send us the publication title, company name, and date. PAYMENT 5. No current OR future monetary payment is available for submissions printed in the August 2004 issue of Midnight Ink. 6. Writers and artists who submit a story that will be OR has been printed in ANY issue Midnight Ink will each receive one free copy of the issue the story is printed in. A maximum of four free copies will be distributed per submission per issue. |
